Tokai Sushi - Best Sushi Bar in Santa Clarita, CA

I visited this place twice and each time I enjoyed my experience here ! Food and service never disappoint! Very welcoming atmosphere, not too noisy/crowded and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Sushi rolls were incredibly fresh and delicious, probably one of the best rolls I’ve tried in CA. Also, highly recommend trying their Tokai sampler which is a combination of 9 appetizers, so you can try a little bit of everything. They also have amazing lunch/happy hour specials Monday through Sunday. Can’t wait to visit again to try their omakase specials!

This is absolutely my favorite sushi place in Santa Clarita, hands down. First, the sushi: it’s not covered in sauces and other garbage that hide the flavor, it’s presented exactly as pictured in the menu! And, it’s REALLY good. Second, the menu: pictures of every roll, descriptions of every roll, and, as I said above, it comes out exactly like the picture in the menu. Third, the service: every table has small kiosk where you can order, I’ve never seen this before and what makes it great was we ordered our drinks and some crispy rice (not what they called it) and it came to the table before we had decided what rolls to get. Service was outstanding!! Six stars if I could give it! We are absolutely coming back here, and this will be our go to sushi place for sure. EDIT 12/12/25: My brother and nephew came to town and wanted sushi for lunch, and I sent them here. When I saw them later in the afternoon, both agreed it was the best sushi they ever had as well!!

This place had recently taken a dive with regard to wait staff and customer service. However, over the past two months I've eaten there several times and the service has GREATLY improved. They do have touch screen order tablets at each table and at the bar. The wait staff is attentive, plentiful, and the food generally comes quickly. Not to mention the 5pm-close happy hour specials.

Had an appointment with mom so this is our goto in Santa Clarita, Always a pleasant hello for a greeting, seated promptly, extra care was given for my mother and her walked. So helpful! We were greeted by Janelle to serve us, what a delight. Drinks were brought promptly Janelle very helpful in our experience at Tokai Sushi. She and all the staff are wonderful keeping a nice ambiance in the restaurant. I highly recommend Tokai sushi is you are in the area, a great menu, lunch specials as well as daily discounts!! You can thank me later!!

This place was seriously a vibe! The sushi was crazy fresh—like, melt-in-your-mouth good. The restaurant was super clean, the service was on point, and even the parking was a major win. If you’re into fresh sushi and chill vibes, you gotta check it out!

I found my new favorite sushi spot. They have a large variety with many deals to choose from. Fresh rolls, baked rolls, tempura rolls, and no rice rolls. They have many specials, 11:30am to 3pm, you can get any 2 rolls $21.99. From 4pm to close you can get 30% off rolls. And happy hour is from 12pm to 5pm. The wagyu rolls are excluded from the2 for $21.99 deal, but I had to try one, and now I'm hooked! They offer bento boxes, signature rice bowls and got stone bowl meals as well too. I highly recommend them.

Also LOVE rice free rolls!!! Being on Keto I can't eat rice. Other sushi joints only have rice rolls or sashimi. These guys have lots of wonderful rice free rolls!!!!! We go a couple times a week!!! Service , food, atmosphere 5 Star

Very impressed with the quality! I ordered the Dynamite Roll and it was absolutely amazing. They also have great deals with 30% off, which makes it super affordable. I’m so glad I found this hidden gem and will definitely keep coming back!
